Module Summary 8 – It’s not just what we eat

It’s not just what we eat

Stressors can be internal (thoughts, beliefs, attitudes) or external (loss, worry, change).

A situation does not have to be extreme to be stressful. In fact, the things that cause you stress are personal to you.

Chronic stress can create mental and physical problems.

Think about what triggers your stress. Then, by using the problem-solving cycle, you can make an action plan for overcoming these triggers.

To be able to break the cycle of comfort eating, we need to be able to tell the difference between when we’re physically hungry and when we want food in response to our feelings or certain situations.
